He was also past Captain of the Hainesport Fire Police Captain of the Burlington County Fire Police and served as Deputy Fire Police Coordinator. Ray was also a charter and Life Member of the Hainesport Emergency Squad.divdivdivpFather of the late Walter R. Derickson he is survived by his loving wife Joan of over 62 years two children daughter Susan Derickson son and daughter-in-law Greg and Cheryl Derickson all of Hainesport two grandchildren Mandi Varga Maffetone Vinnie and Ronald Varga Nicole four great-grandchildren Nicholas and Angelo Maffetone and Trey and Addison Ray Varga. He also is survived by a nephew Robert Stanley.ppFuneral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the Perinchief Chapels 438 High St. Mount Holly. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
