Electrical Fire

pStations 391 and 399 where dispatched to the Russlyn Trailer Park for report of a structure fire. Upon arrival Chief 3900 reported nothing showing and would be out investigating.nbsp Further investigation found an electrical outlet in the residence that had caught fire. Power to the outlet was cut off at the electrical panel and the outlet was removed by the crew of 3912. The crew of 3912 used a thermal imaging camera to check for extension of the fire in the wall around the outlet. Finding no extension into the surrounding areas the home owner was advised to contact an electrician to have the wiring checked out and the outlet replaced. brp
