Storm Puts New Chainsaw to Work.
pAround 630 pm a large thunderstorm rolled into town bringing a downpour of rain strong wind gust and hail. Shortly after the storm had ended Station 391 was dispatched for a tree that had fallen across East Park Drive in the Industrial Park. Rescue 3919 Budden and Engine 3912 Abbott responded. When they arrived the found a tree had fallen across the roadway. The crew from Rescue 3919 went to work using a new Husqvarna chainsaw. The crew from Engine 3912 assisted in removing the tree from the roadway. The new chainsaw operated smoothly and both crews were clear the incident in 15 minutes. brp
